The Lake Victoria Basin, including Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania, offers favorable conditions for tropical freshwater aquaculture. Key features include year-round warm water (24–30°C), seasonal rainfall, and naturally productive waters.
Nile tilapia is the dominant farmed species, well-suited for cage culture in the lake. Our HDPE floating cages are specifically adapted to local conditions: they are UV-stabilized, freshwater-resistant, and designed to withstand moderate wave action, while preventing escapes and supporting high-density tilapia farming.
