Ghana is blessed with ideal aquaculture resources, including rich coastal seawater and vast inland freshwater lakes such as Lake Volta. With a tropical humid climate, the region features year-round high humidity, regular surface waves and seasonal heavy rainfall — conditions that demand durable, wave-resistant and moisture-proof fish farming equipment.
Our HDPE fish cages are precisely engineered to fit Ghana’s unique freshwater and seawater environments perfectly, delivering stable and reliable performance in local weather and water conditions.
We strongly recommend three mainstream cage sizes for your farm, with a standard working water depth of 6 meters:
• 40m circumference cage – effective culture volume: 764m³, equipped with 200mm twin floating pipes, indicative price around USD 2,000
• 50m circumference cage – effective culture volume: 1194m³, equipped with 250mm twin floating pipes, indicative price around USD 4,000
• 60m circumference cage – effective culture volume: 1719m³, equipped with 280mm twin floating pipes, indicative price around USD 6,000
All cages are made of 100% virgin HDPE material, featuring a long service life of 15 to 25 years. Completely rust-free and low-maintenance, they avoid the frequent repairs, labor costs and material waste caused by traditional steel cages.
